Restaurants on a windy night
« on: October 15, 2009, 05:09:30 PM »
We're in Kalkan at the moment and its a very windy night! Bit stuck for where to go for our evening meal- does anyone know of any good restaurants that have an inside eating area? We were thinking of trying the Nar restaurant or Kalamaki but don't know if they're suitable for tonight?? Thanks for any prompt replies!!!!

Nar were advertising a few nights back that their first floor was available but that was perhaps because rain was expected.  How about trying Belgins Kitchen for a really authentic Turkish meal, seated inside on very comfy cushions?  I can tell Kerim to expect you!

Thanks Eniste- might chance a walk into the village to the Nar. Would go to Belgins but have been many times before and fancied trying somewhere different  :)

Try Saffron - they have an inside eating area, and as has been reported many times on here, the food is excellent, especially the steak in blue cheese sauce and the volcanic chocolate.

Bit late but we ate in Fez last night which has a cosy indoor floor where you can watch the kitchen hard at work.  Great lamb dishes and staff were impeccable.  Nice to watch the chefs working while we relaxed with a bottle of red!!
