Whats the weather like mid-Sept?

I've just come back from my first trip to Kalkan and had the most fantastic time.  So much so that I'm planning on going back mid-sept and was wondering what the weather, warmth of sea and activities would be like as the end of the season will be soon approaching...

I can't wait to go back and this is the only time I can return.

You'll love the weather in September.  The days are hot and the evenings are warm to cool but not cold.  The sea doesn't lose it's summer temperatures so is great for swimming through into October.  The Kalkan season for shops, restaurants, etc, goes on to more or less the end of October so you'll have a great time.

we have found that although the mozzie problem is far better in Kalkan over the last couple of years in september they hardly seem about at all...and no olive flies!!as alan says nice time of year

             We always find that our apartment books very quickly for the month of September and the weather seems to suit a lot of people at this time of year. We go right up to and including the last week in October and although the weather is a bit risky I have have swam in the pool and sea.
I'm sure you will enjoy it in September "get it booked!!!!!"

Good tip, M.  I shall book my hotel asap.  Good to hear there aren't many mozzies at that time of year too as I was very popular with them in June!
