If you are travelling with Thomas Cook you can do it as part of a final day excursion before going back to the airport. We did it the first time we went and it was great fun.

Hi
If you take a boat trip from the harbour for the day they will let you off in a bay (think it''s the 3rd stop). You can do a DIY mud bath a few KM. from Kalkan. However the Daylan trip is excellent!

you also get to go in a mud bath when you go on a canoe trip - great fun but wear something you don''t really care about because it doesn''t wash out easily!

You can also have a mud bath after tubing in rubber rings down the river at Sakklikent Gorge - a lovely day out too!

Cheers!

Also, if you go on the ''canoeing down the xanthos river'' trip, you cake yourself in mud and then get washed down the river after. The water is very buoyant so you just lay there like a hippo being gently moved along by the current until clean!

As Roxie says you can do the DIY mud bath thing on one of the boats from the harbour - it''s a great laugh. After you''ve dried in the sun, you get in the water and use the shingle to scrub it all off - better than a Turkish Bath for exfoliation IMO  ;D
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

Oh and you can go down the river at Saklikent from the gorge in those rubber thingamajigs and cover yourself in mud at the end. Good laugh and very safe!!
