For those who have not realised yet, Zeki''s has closed BUT the most popular dishes have been added to the menu at La Terrazza, and most of the former Zeki''s staff are there too.  The other night we had garlic bread followed by great fillet steak and rounded it off with yummy puds - it was warm enough to stay on the top terrace until fairly late, then we moved inside by the fire.  Best of both worlds!

That''s great. I wanted to go to Zeki''s when we there the other week as I loved their pate and sticky toffee pudding. Where is La Terrazza ?

Hi Mrs EK.  La Terrazza is opposite Cafe Del Mar (Doy Doy and Salt and Pepper are just round the corner).  My OH had the sticky toffee pud the other night and is still in raptures!  It''s the lemon tart for me, though the tiramisu is wonderful too!  Decisions, decisions.

Three nrothers owned Zekis I believe. One of them and his wife Pauline (he trained in the Lake District) opened La Terrazza, it looks like they have all moved back in together.

Not surprised - now the best of both worlds - good building, good menu.  La Terrazza menu and service last year were poor compared to Zeki''s.  Will miss sitting in the street at Zeki''s though.

Sounds good.
Poor portions and slow service last year at La Terraza!

I''ve still not been there...I''m not sure I ever got over the fact that it used to be the wonderful towel shop.... :( :( :(
I am getting professional help  ;D
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)
