Cardis for the evening..?
« on: May 14, 2009, 08:35:32 AM »
Hi All,

The time for packing has come  :o and I''m wondering whether I really need to bring cardis and thin jumpers for the evenings?

Cheers, Claire.

Last week it was a little breezy on the roof terraces, but many restaurants offered Pashminas to the ladies

Hope that helps  :)

Hi
It  was a little breezy on the roof terrace last night, so maybe a thin cardi is a good idea!

;D ;D...that''s my type of cardi kevincat!!!
Claire, I always bring a pashmina, no matter what time of year we come to Kalkan. It''s also handy to wrap yourself up in on the plane. As Jon says, many restaurants and bars offer them out if it gets a little chilly late on.
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

Claire in case you''re a pashmina officiado....the ones you can buy in Turkey are not real pashminas. They are very nice wraps/scarves etc and are very cheap, but not the genuine article  ::)

That''s cool;  I call anything made of woven threads, between the size of a normal scarf to a single sheet, a ''pashmina'' !!
