...oh yes vinegar..thanks Neil! And I''ll try brewers yeast too, thanks Maddie..with marmite, which I think has been mentioned in a previous thread...anything else anyone can think of??? I might as well go for everything at once..but there''s a good chance I will be disowned by my BH and daughters but I may...just may be bite-free this year :o :o
Maddie, I ended up in hospital in France with my bites a few years ago, I''ll never forget the way the nurse recoiled in horror when I lifted my full length sarong to reveal what had once passed as ankles..fairly slim ones at that.
I NEVER want to be in that situation again, hence the mild obsession with finding something that will work  ;)
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

With all the sprays, pill popping and brewers yeast and marmite you might scare the bugs off K4E,but you might get the dogs licking your ankles  :o ::) ;D

So:-
Citronella Oil (may have a skin reaction)
Tea Tree oil
Brewers Yeast
Lemon Verbana
Deet
Vinegar
Antihistamine
Avon skin so soft (green one)
Tazer gun from Boots
Off
Garlic
Lavender oil

Is this all?

I bought some base oil and made my own mixture last year. A bit of this and that - eye of newt etc plus a healthy dash of Brut after shave, splash it all over. Kept the old man away if nothing else!!
