...oh yes vinegar..thanks Neil! And I''ll try brewers yeast too, thanks Maddie..with marmite, which I think has been mentioned in a previous thread...anything else anyone can think of??? I might as well go for everything at once..but there''s a good chance I will be disowned by my BH and daughters but I may...just may be bite-free this year
Maddie, I ended up in hospital in France with my bites a few years ago, I''ll never forget the way the nurse recoiled in horror when I lifted my full length sarong to reveal what had once passed as ankles..fairly slim ones at that.
I NEVER want to be in that situation again, hence the mild obsession with finding something that will work

With all the sprays,pill popping and brewers yeast and marmite you might scare the bugs off K4E,but you might get the dogs licking your ankles

Avon skin so soft (green one)
Tazer gun from Boots
Off
Garlic
Lavender oil

Is this all?




I bought some base oil and made my own mixture last year. A bit of this and that - eye of newt etc plus a healthy dash of Brut after shave, splash it all over. Kept the old man away if nothing else!!

Buy a small,cheap bottle of Raki,rub it on anywhere,it does work,and if you do get bit,drink the Raki it will numb the pain

bought some tiger balm today for an aching elbow and lo and behold also states it a relief for mozzie bites so something else to try when in Kalkan
