Sun umbrellas

I need to buy some replacement sun umbrellas.  I want to buy those big ones with the concrete bases on them (which you can wheel around) with the big large wooden umbrellas.

Anybody any ideas of the best places to go to buy these and a ballpark figure of how much I should be paying?

Neco in Yesilkoy has them - 3 metres in diameter and last year he was selling them for 350 TL

Gosh - that sounds expensive to me....I assume that price includes the concrete base as well... 

I guess I''m just used to the cheap small brollies stuck in the plastic water filled bases - but even by UK standards - it sounds expensive - but chances of getting them from the UK as excess baggage...LOL!!!

you can get them cheaper from Ikea, they deliver to Kalkan on Fridays so you need to order on line by Wednesday of the week you want delivery

cystal do you need to order through a shop in Kalkan or if you order from the catalogue will they deliver to your door (in Kalkan)?  Also do you know their delivery charges?  Many thanks

you can order through the ikea turkey website, not sure what the delivery charge is at the moment but it will tell you on the website

I have just purchase the following from Koctas. It was easy and the delivery price was just 14.5tl. Delivery to Kalkan is approx 5 days but at least the price is genuine and they say it is delivered to your door! They take a mobile in case the driver needs to ask for directions.

30 m Wall mounted hose pipe reel = 69.90tl
2.5m aluminum parasol = 109.90tl
2m Wooden parasol = 69.90tl

Maybe the days of 350tl parasols are over
