It''s the next restaurant you come to after Gironda (on the left) walking down towards the harbour...although Coast have relocated to Gironda and I assume that will change to Coast...??? Not sure I can keep up
Anyway, lradders, it''s one of my most favourite Kalkan restaurants, and not too damaging on the wallet!!
Well worth a visit and if Carlsberg did loos, they would probably be the ones in IBO ;D ;D
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

Agree, fabulous restaurant and Ibo is a great host.  As you come down hill past Halit Silver etc. you will see ladies clothes shop directly in front of you at corner, Ibo''s is up above clothes shop, entrance is little lane to the left.  Always go there for our first night and last night in Kalkan, the steak with mushrooms is to die for!  Roll on June!

Not wanting to start an argument but I find it hard to believe that any Loo could have been better than the air conditioned uber stylish ones in Gironda. I know Coast do not plan to change them so perhaps we could start a best loo thread. There''s also the new Lykia Spa restaurant with probably the best setting and views over Kalkan Bay opening in May with Jimmy from Gironda as Maitre D''. Stunning inside.! Perfect outside.!

Gironda''s is good maybe a bit to cold with the aircon...but the smellies and sweets in Ibo''s win hands down.

Where is the Lykia Spa located ??, I liked Jimmy top man even he does take a fortune off us each time we are in Kalkan.....  :D :D :D

Standing facing the harbour, outside Aubergine, the Lykia Spa is the new boutique hotel on the right hand side of the bay. The hotel opened last year but a new restaurant and 40 metre snake like swimming pool is opening to the public this year. You get to it either by walking from the harbour on the road towards the Yali beach club or from the Kalamar road. You can lunch and swim or swim and lunch. The Hammam, steam rooms and sauna look fantastic, but not sure if they are open to the public.Nothing else quite like it in Kalkan. But as always much will depend on the chef.
