Just wondering whats the average price for a pint of local beer?
And the price of an average meal?

Hi Amy,

These are last summers figures - You can get a large Efes for anything from 3 lira to 6/7 lira depending where you are having it (they are 2 lira in the supermarkets.

Meals can be as little or as much as you want to pay.

There are some meals that you will get loads for under £7 and others that will cost upto £25 per head for a lovely luxury meal.  It just depends on how much you want to pay, where the restaurant is situated and how ''posh'' you want it to be.

My experience is you get what you pay for, the better the establishment the higher the price, although I still feel even if you eat in the really top places it still good value.......

 Amy...On the up side..many places have a price board outside..you can make an informed choice before you decide...
