Now I dont want to moan but..........

Ive just come back from the Trafford Centre and the christmas lights are going up and the shops are already selling cards and gift wrap!

ITS SEPTEMBER!!!!!!!!!

I was in Ipswich yesterday and one shop was playing Christmas music.Another was putting up Christmas trees.

I was in Manchester last week and saw no mention of Chritmas.
What is it about Suffolk

Summer - the season - ended last weekend

In the Western hemisphere Autumn begins on 21st September then Winter starts on 21st December...but after that date the dark nights start getting shorter (naturally)....so no need to be beaten into winter just yet, there''s a season in between....!
The clock thing is a nuisance...but I know it helps farmers in the far reaches of Scotland where daylight becomes a premium leading up to 21st December. I hate it when you lose an hour''s sleep in the Spring, takes me weeks to get over it. So I appreciate you might want to cling on to summer till October, BL, but wearing shorts and flip flops down the High St next month may prompt people to think you''ve managed to lose your carer
