Have read somthing about making a turkish will? did I miss this bit out with all the other gumph to do with house buying, should I have done this

It is sensible to make a Turkish will I made one in May, although your English will covers you, if you have a Turkish will in place (especially if you are not married) then your property will automatically go straight to who you have left it to. If you have not made a Turkish will as I understand it you have to employ a Turkish solicitor to see the transition through and this could take as much as 2 years to complete. To make the will is easy just another trip to the Notary in Kas with your solicitor and the Translator and you then get a copy of the will with a unique number. The whole cost was around £400 a lot less I feel than the cost of the services of a Turkish solicitor for a year or two.
