Visa for Visitor from Papua New Guinea

Hi everyone
My brother-in-law may be visiting us in Kalkan in September and bringing his partner who is from Papua New Guinea. Can anyone advise which currency she will need to pay her Visa in please? I know when we visited in June with our Australian friend he was not permitted to pay in GBP, but had to pay in Euros or Australian Dollars.
Would be grateful for some advice om this please.

Ordinary passport holders from the following countries should obtain a visa through The Turkish Consulate and/or Embassy in their country

Visitors from many countries, including PNG, must obtain a visa before entering Turkey, they cannot be obtained at the airport on arrival. A visitor from these countries, arriving without a visa would be sent back immediately to the country of embarkation.  As the airline carrying them would be heavily fined, it is highly unlikely that the carrier would allow them to travel without a visa.

If your bother in law''s partner lives in the UK, start at the Turkish consulate in London  Visa applications must be made in person.  Beware though that in some circumstances, the process can take up to 8 weeks.

Many thanks for your replies. I have just discovered that she has already sent her passport to the office in Sydney to get her visa. Let''s hope she gets it back in good time before they fly back to the UK.
