Has anyone any idea how much it would cost to instal heating for a pool (for early & late season) and would solar heating be the best option.

Great question. Something I have been wanting to look into myself but didn''t really know where to start. Never thought of the forum. I''m looking forward to the response you receive.

Most Pool Heating is done with the use of a Heat Pump. This is the same as an Air Conditioning Unit, but it works in reverse. It sucks in large quantities of air, extracts the heat from the air and transfers it to the water. The advantage of this method is that it works at night and in cooler times of the year. The disadvantages are the cost of the units and the cost of electricity to run it.
I believe that you can heat pools via Solar. The most obvious way is with standard panels, but you will require a very large surface area to collect enough energy to significantly heat a pool. The bigger the pool the bigger/more panels. If you think that normally all you are heating is a relatively small hot water storage cylinder that is well insulated. I have also seen  a system that uses a large plastic mesh/grid that has the pool water circulated through it, but it was at least the size of the pool itself and had to be correctly angled to the sun and was also pretty ugly.
The main problem with any form of Solar, is it does not work at night and the efficiency drops off as the strength of the sun decreases later in the year.
Personally, I think that the best solution is to try and insulate the walls of the pool and to have an insulated cover. This will at least slow the heat loss down at night.
As for costs, I have no idea what they are in Turkey, you need to consult a local pool company.
