Check-in open at Gatwick

Due to fly with Onur soon at 21.15 and wondered if anyone had any info on when the check-in desks open? I know it says minimum 2 hours before departure but we have found that with some companies they open a lot earlier.

We are looking to get rid of baggage and have a leisurely meal on airside, have a nice queue at Boots for toiletries and buy some duty-free(?) before we depart.

Flew with Onur in July for a flight departing at 21.55.  We checked in around 17.30, not another person in sight at the check in desk, bliss! by the time we had checked in there were about 10/12 people in the queue.

Not sure if that was because it was the height of the summer or normal.  We had flown in from another airport and just happened to check where the Onur desk was and it was open!  We had previously travelled that way in March and when we told the guy at the check in desk we were coming back in July he told us to get there early.  As you say nice relaxing meal and a few drinks before we boarded the plane.  Enjoy your holiday.
