Nationwide Cash Card - Confused!
« on: July 28, 2008, 07:08:40 PM »
Hi All,

Apologies for being a numpty but I wonder if anyone could clarify something for me? I popped in to my local Nationwide today and asked their advice re cash withdrawals in Kalkan and got two differing replies.

One member of staff said I needed to apply for a Nationwide Debit Card in order to do this, while the other person stated that my existing Cash Card was the same as the older Flex Acc Card (which was replaced automaticaly) and I could use it IF there was a ''Cirrus'' symbol displayed on the particular ATM.

Any advice please?

Thanks very much,

Hi
just checked my card which I''ve used for last few visits and again last week.
It''s a flex account card and has a cirrus symbol on the back. This particular one is not a debit card only works at cash points and use it with no problem in Turkey.

I too hold Nationwide cards, and have used then in Kalkan & within the last 2 weeks Grenada WI, no problems & more importantly, no bank charges.
