Consequences of complaining about the building noise

I would just like to let you know what has happened to us since I have been fighting for my rights to stop the building work carrying on in the villa being constructed in front of us.   We have been told that our five year maintenance guarantee will stop and the builder will not carry out any more work on our villa.   If we want we can go to a solicitor.  So much for fighting for our rights!!!!!  Is this because we are women?   We have been so saddened by the whole thing and can''t believe that we are being treated in this way. Not sure if i can name and shame my builder in this forum?  It is an unbelieveable situation to be in.  I feel I am dealing with children who are completely unprofessional with no business integrity.  How saddened we are having to live with this situation.   Believe me all we did was to defend our rights. I think such people who are breaking the law should be publicly named and shamed. This is the only way to prevent others from being taken in like this.

It may be worth while contacting Everythinglegal in Fethiye. When we were there at the end of last year they had just won a case against a builder for British clients and they said they hadn''t lost a case yet.

I think i know were your villa is do you have twin girls ? in your family
I  know who the builder is . i think that any bulider who carrys on in the aggressive manner
also one that shatters peoples dreams of a home they have worked long  hard for
 should be defintley named shamed esp as he is probally one of the biggest builders in kalkan
maybe if this does happen he may consider not treating people in such a awfull manner

Some friends of ours have been fighting for 4 years for some kind of recompense over a land deal.
 even though the court continually rules in their favour, it''s a different matter actually getting the money.
 It''s been gruelling, they changed solicitors loads of times, adjournments for this and then that.
 I wouldn''t recommend anyone go up that road unless they really have to
Accept the worst of what you have got and try to enjoy the rest.
