Live Music and all that Jazz

I have a visiter who would like to know if there is anywhere in Kalkan where they can listen to live music, (particularly Jazz). I know the Korsan Fish Terrace use to do a Jazz night, but do they still do this and if so, on what nights? Information on any other live music venues would also be appreciated.

Paprika always used to do live jazz-ish music on a Tuesday and Friday - a female vocalist with a jazz guitarist backing her -  but I''m sure someone on another thread said Ugur was not opening the restaurant this year. They certainly were closed in March, but they wouldn''t normally open that early anyway, so I don''t know whether it''s true or not.

Sofra also has live music each week but I''m not sure when. However, there is usually a sign outside saying when and what.

Sofra have a classical acoustic guitarist every Thursday night.  Very pleasant background music.

when we were there in June the duo who used to be at Parika were at the Gironda one night.

We were in Sofra on Tuesday night last week and they had a couple performing Jazz. The guy was on guitar and the girl was singing. They were very good. I don''t know if they are regular every Tuesday, you would need to check with the restaurant.

Korsan Fish Terrace have the Paprika jazz band on Thursdays and Saturdays I think - we went and they were better than ever
