Mmm, yes come to think of it, Imam Bayildi is good - in fact I love anything with aubergine in when I''m out in Turkey, but when I have it here, yuk!   Anyone like Mucver?  If I have a starter I seem to alternate between the borek and this (corgettes - something else I hate at home!).  Ah well according to the countdown on the toolbar only 66 days to go to all this lovely food - good job most of the skirts I''m taking have elasticated waists!!!

We recently visited the Greek island of Meis and my OH had Moussaka.  It was ok he said, but a couple of days later in Kalkan (Ali Baba''s), he had the Turkish version.  Far superior, so he said and has decided to stick to the Turkish version in future!
