Thinking of Kalamar Bay
« on: January 31, 2017, 08:19:30 PM »
I have booked my flights and transfers and am now wishing away my year, as usual, until we're back in beautiful Kalkan/Kalamar Bay. I was just wondering if anyone knew how the new hotel development was going at the end of Meneksa Sokak.
Can't wait to be there again.

We have been told that the builders have fallen out with each other, so there is nothing happening on the building at the moment.

We were there for new year and were told the builders have run out of money! There was no activity going on with the building work! In fact it know looks a right eye sore!
They have ripped up a lovely olive grove and now left ugly concrete buildings! Just glad we are not over looking it! I would imagine the Kalamar hotel is not very happy about the situation! Not a good look from their new infinity poo!!!!!!

Such a shame, the Builders should not be allowed to leave it in such a state - but I'm not surprised.  Likewise, the Harbour area, I hope all the landscaping etc has been finished, it's hard enough trying to persuade people to come to Turkey, without being greeted by unfinished building sites when they arrive.

Lol Rosi B I was wondering who would pick up on that spelling mistake!!! I was feeling angry when I wrote the post! It should not be allowed to be left such an eye sore!!
