Lost Wallet Update
« on: June 23, 2015, 10:27:00 PM »
Just a quickie following my earlier post to say a BIG thank you to KLTN for their post and the subsequent reuniting of my husband with his wallet. It fell out of my husbands backpack while traveling from Kalamar Bay to Kalkan town and was found earlier today by a lovely couple who spent their day trying to find him to return it. They did such an amazing job contacting KTLN and the local police. They also contacted Trio having checked the contents which is where the reunion took place. Can't thank them enough. The money is always a bonus but it's all the other bits and bobs that cause the distress. Faith in humanity restored thanks to the kindness of honest lovely people.  ;D ;D ;D

Fantastic result! I agree it certainly restores your faith in humanity especially as we so often hear such negative reports about people these days. A similar thing happened to my husband when shopping at our nearest town just a week prior to Christmas. Retraced our steps with no luck but on returning home found a message already on our answerphone from the local police station saying it was there. Apparently a young man had immediately walked the length of the town on finding the wallet to hand it in . We wanted to show our appreciation but the lad was adamant that the pleasure in helping  us was reward enough, proof positive that not all youngsters are wrong 'uns. As you say it wasn't just the cash but the cards, work id's, licence etc that would have been horrendous to sort, especially that time of year. So glad everything worked well for you and have a great relaxing holiday. Cheers!!
