Not being a footie fan myself, or a true Barnsley girl, i cannot comment on that!
I will say, though, that there was a definate air of excitement in the centre of Barnsley this morning...i didnt even have to queue at the post office parcel pick up depot in the usual Saturday morning rush!  :D

I was loking at this development with the builder and at no time was any building work mentioned even with the last information pack he sent to me in the UK !!

Good heavens - I find that very difficult to believe  :o
You mean the builder [who was it by the way] didn''t tell you of the new beach club in front of those houses - that''s not like a Turkish developer - as usually they say it green belt land and can''t be built on ever - or at least not for a little while anyway
You could have spent £450,000 and been very surprised by your new neighbours

Funny you should sy that it was mentioned that no further building work would be carried out due to green belt status......builders must must have a global handbook of what to say to the punters...........
