Good Nightlife?

Hello!  Planning our first trip to Kalkan and arrive next week - Mid June.  Can anyone recommend good bars for cocktails and dancing please?  We're in our mid 30's...  Are there any great bars for watching the sunset too? Thank you!

Welcome to the forum. Kalkan is not over endowed with places to dance as the resort is more geared towards gentle relaxation. Youngsters head off to Mojito which does both cocktails and dancing, but it is very much the only place theses days. Bars such as Sandals or Moonlight have cocktails and a small dancing area inside but some of the music is slightly suspect for anyone in their 20's or 30's
As you are arriving in the middle of the world cup, you will find a lot of places will be catering for the football and the time difference means the matches are not at the most "friendly" times so music and dancing may be curtailed in a lot of places. You can watch the sunset from most of the rooftop terraces which are restaurants in the main, but most have a small bar area. Kleo, right on the beach or a table near the lighthouse in Fener will offer amazing harbour views but to really appreciate the sunset you need to be higher.

Kleo do decent cocktails and are open til 3am for a bit of boogieing. Best bar in Kalkan IMO for setting, facilities, lunchtime snacks and fantastic service fro Durali, Hal and the team.

Is Chocolate bar open this year? They have cocktails and dancing

We've walked past it a couple of times late on and the lights are on, but there doesn't appear to be much activity in Chocolate. Mojito on the other hand seems fairly busy....

Thanks for the info Kalkan4eva, very helpful.  We didn't really want a nightclub as such just somewhere for a boogie if the mood takes us so Mojito sounds like a place we should check out and hope we don't stick out too much!  We'll also try Kleo.
