Replacement umbrella covers

Can anyone recommend where to get replacement umbrella covers, I have tried one place locally and their fabric seems rather thin, I would be surprised if it lasted a couple of seasons.

Any help appreciated.

Hi Anne,

We use a great linen shop in Akbel,run by a lovely Turkish family.The name of the shop is Utku Merfrusat.We have bought lots of linen,cushion covers for sun loungers,and replacement parasol covers.

You head up the road along side Arcelic and eventually the road turns sharp left.You pass the marble/granite place and about 100 metres further on,you come to the linen shop.The parents are lovely but don't speak English.It is the son,Utku who speaks good English.Good luck.

we got our umbrella covers remade at the same place using a synthetic shading material (should last longer) after one season still like new, also it's a great place for recovering cushions etc etc.

Hi I had two 2.5m parasols recovered last year by Cemal at Can Furnishings, just up from Genpa supermarket.  Excellent quality and service.  They are a young husband and wife team and have been to our villa several times to supply various items.  Their work is of an excellent standard and I recommend them very highly.

We have had excellent and reliable service from Ozgur just next to the Kalkan Tapas Bar on Kalamar road.  He has made us a new awning for our terrace, 3 new umbrellas, umbrella covers and rain covers for all our outdoor furniture.  He has a variety of qualities in fabrics, some guaranteed for 5 years.  He is precise, on time, responsible and reasonably priced. 

Had previously had pretty bad service and jobs done by others, especially the shop on the Akbel road which made us curtains which were a disaster and charged 1400 TL.  Had to have them all remade. 

Very happy to have found Ozgur, he is very professional and neat with his work

No, near the Kaya roundabout is Osman, not Ozgur.  You have to continue up Kalamar road to the Kaptan Tapas Bar.  Ozgur is just next door, set back from the road and up some stairs.

Hi, just to agree with Charlie, we have had a lot of items made, many to order by Can furnishings - they are excellent and honest, on time and overall very helpful with excellent quality and good prices - not v v cheap but good quality. Lovely people too, we have known them for almost ten years.
