Cafe Ev

Cafe Ev was closed today. Walked over from the market and it all looked closed up. I am sure someone who lives close by will update us on the closure.

I'm afraid Erko has shut up shop to spend more time in Switzerland. He'll be missed.

That is such a shame but I thought it was "eddie's" place and he's still in Kalkan. Any more news would be welome......

Erko is Eddie's brother. Eddie's going to concentrate on his real estate business, I understand. So no Cafe Ev, which is a real shame as we loved it there.

Well I'm contributing to his property business by renting Sun Elite 4 again next year. I hope Cafe Ev will reopen though......

Sadly, as regulars at Cafe Ev along with some of our friends, we found that the quality of the food had gone down recently, we will however miss it as its a great location for a beer.

Hello, my first post on here... :) We are coming out to Kalkan at the end of the month and staying at Sun Elite. Does anyone know if Cafe Ev has/will be re-opening? Certainly hope so...

It looked like they were getting it ready when we were up there on Thursday at the market.

The corner where Cafe Ev was has been vastly modernised, the whole area where the cafe frontage has gone but new signage is in place so I guess they are re opening. The villa we stay at is up that hill by the school so we have to negotiate the 2 dual carriageways to get up it. People still seem to like to drive up the down one as we saw 2 more today doing it.
