Indian Restaurant - closed???

Dont go out often but was really looking forward to going to the indian restaurant last night.

Arranged to meet friends but when we got there it was closed!!! Couldnt see any notice outside,the big menu board was placed to stop you going upstairs and the people who had arrived before us had been told that the owners had "gone on holiday for a while"!!!

What a shame,we had a lovely meal at Ata restaurant (great food and service) instead but we were all really looking forward to a good curry!!!

Anyone know whats happening there??? Seems a strange time for a holiday,hope we will get our curry soon.

We ate there Wednesday night, no sign of closing.  The owner is here.  Must be a temporary problem such as staffing, someone ill, etc.  Wait a bit and we'll know.
