Michelle, this is in no way scientific and depends on the current exchange rate, but ad a quick calculation based on lira being nearer 3 to a pound. I usually times the price in Turkish lira by 3, add a nought then add a bit more on e.g. if an Efes was 8 lira, I x by 3 =24 = £2·40, then add a bit on e.g. £2·80. It's about right and it works for me, although OH despairs of my reasoning!!

we need more reports of supermarket prices of efes and supermarket wine prices ...several of our operatives are carrying out surveillance as we speak but no report yet...also Beer prices in Kaya,yali bar ,Moonlight,
we also are looking for the whereabouts of the elusive rotisserie chicken? this rare commodity seems to be vanishing..last year only the little deli up from kaya and before A101 had these...( I think they were really starlings !tiny!

..perhaps a new opening for a chicknasium? they could be beefed up before going on the hot magic roundabout!)

Rogue agent reporting back after last surveillance mission in Kalkan 2 weeks ago. A large Efes in Ozlap Restaurant was 5Tl, also 5Tl for a glass of House wine. 5Tl at Fotos Pizza for large Efes.
Supermarkets prices varied immensely, up to 10Tl difference per bottle of wine. We found DVD shop opposite Taxi Rank was the cheapest for Angora, red/ white. L

Are you asking if its easy to connect to free wifi by chance? If so yes lots of restaurants offer free wifi I use Merkez or Cafe del Mar where I can have a coffee and catch up. Also your accommodation might also have it.

Hi Michelle, if i remember rightly you are staying at Samira hotel - they have free wifi you just need to get passcode from them and you are ready to go.
