Ata Meze Grill
« on: April 25, 2013, 12:25:02 PM »
We had a very enjoyable meal last night at Ata Meze Grill, where Omar's used to be.
Lamb shish, spicy kebabs and a bottle of Angora for 53 lire. Very good value.

Had lunch there yesterday and have to agree its a great new place. They gave us little mezes free to get started and my friend has a homemade burger and I had a starter dish of courgette fritters (lovely). She had coke and I had water and we had complementary coffee afterwards. The bill 21 lira.
The service was good and the food very good.We will certainly go back.

A large group of us went for a meal here at Easter, shortly after the restaurant opened. We were so impressed with the quality of the food (try the Iskender kebap) and the service that I went back again with my husband the following week and enjoyed it just as much! Good food and service at very reasonable prices - I'm recommending it  :)

.....another one for the list :)
Has Omar's moved? Not noticed on KTLN if its popped up elsewhere
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

Hi K4E, I think I saw somewhere that it had moved to the bus station, somewhere near Ayse's kitchen, or have I dreamed that?  ???
