As the new season gets underway, and prompted by another thread, if you had to only pick one restaurant in Kalkan as your favourite which would it be?
Similarly, if you could only choose one bar, which would it be?

There are lots to choose from,and there are lots we haven't been to...........probably as we are creatures of habit and tend to go for what we already know is good

Favourite mid priced restaurant.......either Alternatif or Agora
Favourite lower priced restaurant.......Foto pizza......really good quality at very reasonable prices.......and cheapest restaurant for Efes

Yali bar is great for people watching

Favourite restaurant ... Hmmm I dont really have one,I have eaten at a lot of places in Kalkan and never had a bad meal,and it depends who I am eating with .... but I really like the " soup kitchen " the guys are great and I have got to know them over the years,great for people watching and has a good view of Kalkan,I also like the little pide place in the side street next to the Samira hotel,very cheap,and you get a lot of side dishes,sit on the roof terrace as the sun goes down .... stunning .
Bars ... My favourite subject     Really there is not that many BARS as such,they seem to be eating places with a bar,but I do like Parc Kalkan ,good draught Efes,Ali Babas terrace,because I have known Bayram and Mustafa from my first time in Kalkan and the are like family,and Mojito,I like a bit of volume now and then.Chocolate also,good fun and loud music... but again it depends who I am with.

If I only had to choose one meal in Kalkan then it would have to be the Fish Terrace......based on last year's visit.....we always have a democratic vote to decide which restaurant to return to for the last night.....but this has been different on different holidays.

Current favourite bar is Kleo.....lovely sunsets, staff and views.

Really looking forward to hearing which restaurants are popular this year.

It wasn't the original Oz Adana, they have moved up to the junction with the Kas road. The new place has Adana in it's name so some people don't realise it has changed hands.

didn't it move up the hill to where cati was??...for me Kaya becomes Lizard HQ while i'm in town....beer keeps coming when i'm nearly empty until i say "thets enuff fer meee theeeen  hic!hic!..i luv yoooo your my bestestest mate hic! hic!"

I know Oz adana changed hands,but if anything the Pide and extras are even better,but it was open last year .

Where is Chocolate situated can't seem to place it ? We also usually fancy the odd little livier night out if we're just out for a few drinks and a spot of people watching.  We honestly don't have a fave eating place as  there are so many and each has it's own type of ambience depending what sort of night out you're in the mood for. As long as we're in Kalkan we're up for anything

See others have had the same trouble, so I'll pitch in...
Last year our favourite eating place was a toss up between Sofra, Kaya and Gourmet
Our fave bar is, and probably always will be, Moonlight. We like a drink in Kaya, but if you don't get one of the stools you feel like a spare part and since BH gave up fags its harder to sit in the smoking area

Oz Adana, which we also love, moved up to where Luka used to be....but I think something new, and similar, has opened up where Cati used to be. Has Oz Adana got a drinks licence this year?

Chocolate is the old NO NAME bar on heart attack hill,you can cut through over the rd from the soup kitchen or walk down the street past Mojito .

That's an impossible ask! Fave restaurant might be TanZorie next time, I do love a curry...

My Personal favorites are Sade and Hunkar Okabasi. We also like to have a drink and people watch at Merkez. Be there in 4 weeks

Gosh K4E, what a challenge you have set for us!!! Like you I am unable to whittle it down to one restaurant as like others, we like different places for different reasons ie our favourite lunchtime venue is fener, followed closely by cafe vita and chillies but I wouldn't know where to start on evening restaurants, Kaya, marina and mussakka are possibly our all time favourites but we love gourmet, Doy Doy, Sade, Hunkar, corner, baharat.......you see I can't do it!!! Fave bar has to be moonlight, gutted it was closed last week.

Our fave bar is the Moonlight too, always have a great welcome and kisses all around from Martin and his crazy staff on our first visit there every year. Probably rubbing their hands together thinking they must stock up on Efes and vino lol! Mind, you need to keep your wits about you having to sit on the dreaded slope especially if you're as accident prone as me, could have been Frank Spencers love child. You feel like you've had a few vinos even before you have and negotiating the trip to the loos is not for the faint hearted tend to do much leg crossing whilst plucking up the courage
