What is the best way to pay for non food items in the market (gifts etc). Can you use £'s or are you better off with Turkish Lira.

Money is money

You probably won't get as good a rate of exchange for £'s so TL is better usually

As kevincat says i wouldn't bother with anything other than TL...if you haggle a good price you would lose out in the rate they gave...and it would confuse things ;)
