Yesil Dalyan transfer
« on: May 08, 2012, 11:44:49 AM »
Has anyone used Yesil Dalyan for transfers? My brother in law is using them in a few days time but has no info on finding them at Dalaman airport. They are not answering e-mails.
Do they stand at the Meeting Point?

The booking was direct with Yesil Dalyan. I have now found another e-mail so have asked them the question again. The price if booked direct is £28 for return transfer.

Baclava, for future reference, it would be interesting to know who he is flying with, how long he has to wait before leaving DLM and what sort of vehicle they use?
There - over there, there are.            To - Going to
Their - belongs to them.                     Too - In addition, Also
They're - Short for they are.

Pedant! me?

I've used Yesil Dalyan but booked under Transfers4U.  They have a stand but you need to go over the 'bridge' when you come out of arrivals.

As promised an update.
My brother in law landed at 1600hrs yesterday. He cleared immigration and customs and went to the Yesil desk (no. 1) He was on the minibus by 1640hrs on the way to Fethiye. He didn't wait long at the airport before all other pax had arrived.
Arrived Fethiye (Yesil offices) where he was transferred to a car which brought him and two others to Kalkan. He arrived Kalkan at 1905hrs.

He may have been lucky not having to wait long at the airport as 4 flights arrived within 15 minutes, but as a cheap transfer it worked fine.

The final chapter - and it doesn't make for good reading.
B in L scheduled for transfer to airport on 1 June, but by evening of 31st had not received any indication of pick up time. Found telephone number and called them. Pressed option for English and got someone who could hardly speak English.
He gave pick up time at 1840hrs (etd flight was 2125hrs) which I explained was very tight timing. He then gave me another mobile number for their person in Kas who first said 6.40pm, then 1640 then finally 1840hrs.
I again stressed how tight this would be but they insisted the timing was OK.

After picking a couple of more pax in Kalkan the bus set off, finally reaching the airport at 2105hrs, by which time the check in desks for his flight had closed.
With the help of other Jet2 staff thet managed to rush him to the plane and arrived as they were about to close the plane doors.

Yesil Dalyan do not answer e-mails requesting pick up time, nor have they answered yet my e-mail reporting the events of 1 June.

So - whilst the leg of the journey from the airport went OK, the return was most unsatisfactory.

This is just to warn other travellers to beware this company and proceed with bookings at your peril.

I will be travelling with Yesil Dalyan in July. The instructions on my ticket are to phone Yesil Dalyan 2 days prior to the flight which I will do. None the less I have just emailed them for reassurance and have copied and pasted your concerns for their information. I will post their reply (if I get one) on here. Hopes that ok.

Are you using them both ways.? We had booked online and did not receive any indication of what to do for the Kalkan-DLM leg.

Also I have had a reply from Yesil, Hazel ABAKAY Customer Service customer@yesildalyantravel.com 00 90 252 612 8686 who was very apologetic about the incident with your B in Law and says she is looking into the matter so I hope you get a satisfactory reply

I have now received an apology from Hazel for the poor performance on 1st June. Our confirmation e-mail just contained the booking details - with no telephone numbers to call.

Hazel has mentioned that faxes are sometimes sent out to the drop off hotel re the return leg, but I have just pointed out to her that many pax only use the nearest well known hotel for a reference, and therefore they shouldn't assume you are staying at that particular hotel.

I still contend that 1840hrs pick up is far too late for a 2125hrs flight.
