#11. Flat was lovely and spotlessly clean

We had a wonderful holiday staying at the Olive Garden Apartment. Everything was spotlessly clean and we really appreciate the welcome pack of daily essentials such as milk, bread, tea and coffee etc.
Would definitely recommend staying at this apartment. You also have the hotel facilities at your disposal.
Can wait to return.

#12. Fantastic Holiday

Have just spent a wonderful 11 days in this comfortable and well equipped villa. Gorgeous views from the villa and from all areas of the resort. Resort beautifully landscaped, staff friendly and helpful, great pools with plenty of loungers. Kalkan a beautiful town with great restaurants. Will definitely be returning.

#13. What a lovely villa and location.

We are already missing watching the boats coming into the harbour at night and in the morning. And are regretting not exploring even more of the little caves and rocky coves along the bay with its gorgeous clear water. The villa apartment was a little home from home, with books and nick backs along with helpful guides. When we arrived we were given plenty water, olives, cheese, honey and home made jam with fresh bread. From beginning to end we were given assistance or information if required such as the arrangement of very comfortable and reliable transport. We wish we were still there and visiting the beaches, turtle spotting and visiting ancient ruins .

#15. Beautiful villla and location

We stayed for two weeks. The villa was excellent, very clean and had everything you could want for your stay. The resort is stunning, pools are picturesque with great choice for families and couples. The owner left a lovely welcome pack for our first day and this was very welcome. We spent every morning and evening on the wonderful terrace which had such a spectacular view that sometimes it was hard to leave and go exploring or just to the pool! At the end of very hot days the villa was cool and the terrace had a nice breeze. Perfect. We also used the spa in Patara Prince and we were impressed with this too, great Hamman, facial and sports massage, manager Alexendr was so helpful regarding advice on where to go in Kalkan too. We have come away with lovely memories. The owner was also really helpful before, during and after the holiday. Highly recommended.
Kalkan is beautiful, plenty of places to eat and shop and just explore.

#16. A very well maintained villa in a clean and beautiful complex. Spectacular view from a hilly retreat

Jon was most helpful in arranging our transfers to and from the villa. The villa was compact but had everything we required for a 2 week stay. We loved the terrace, and both the design of the villa, and the complex itself. The Olive garden felt very homely and welcoming. The view from the villa was spectacular due to the position on a hill side. FYI - There is a shuttle service that runs up and down the hill but we felt that the villa requires a degree fitness to access as there were 47 steps to the front door and the shuttle does not go as far as the pool, or the local shop. Kalkan itself is very pretty and has no shortage of restaurants to try out. If you're able bodied and don't mind hills then both the Patara Prince complex, and the Kalkan itself are wonderful places to spend time. Thank you Jon for being a great host!

#17. Fantastic!

Well what a place! I stayed here for 2 weeks with my husband and 3 year old daughter and it was fantastic. Upon arrival we were greeted with lovely, helpful staff and presented with a welcome package consisting of cheese, bread, jam, milk, coffee and tea. We also were provided details of a local taxi driver, Ayan who was excellent. We used him for the entire 2 weeks and he was trustworthy and reliable. A lovely man who could not do enough for us.
The villa had a wet room, and great facilities throughout including air con.
I think one of the most amazing things is the beautiful view when sat on the terrace. My husband and I sat there many a night looking over to Kalkan and the boats going buy. The sunset is amazing.
Very reasonable and he owners are lovely people. Jon was extremely helpful and quick at coming back to me also provided useful tips on the area.
We are booking again for next year.

#18. Lovely Stay With All We Needed

When we arrived the agent showed us to our room without any problem. Immediately we felt at home with all we needed. Good access to both adult and main pools and a good view from the balcony. Staff in the hotel were friendly, despite some language barriers!
There were a few minor problems but none of these really bothered us - couldn`t seem to get a decent picture on the tv and couldn't get the cd player to work. I`m sure if we`d have asked the agent he would`ve sorted it as he was more than happy to help. We didn`t get a change of linen during our stay. Apart from that, all was perfect and I would definitely return.

#19. Piece of heaven!

The Olive Garden Villa is of a very high standard and exactly as described by Jon the owner - charming, in a perfect location and has everything that we look for in a relaxing holiday. Having been recently refurbished, we enjoyed the luxury of a modern bathroom and kitchen, very comfy bed and private WIFI access was an added bonus, rarely provided in other rental properties. The balcony enjoys privacy and a truly spectacular view over Kalkan bay. Club Patara is in a stunning location nestled in the hillside right on the sea front with private sea access. It is peace and tranquility but within a 15 - 20 minute walk to the beautiful old town with harbour and spoilt for choice rooftop terrace restaurants. The Turks in Kalkan are the most friendly and kind people. We discovered Kalklan in 2008 and have returned several times since, however our first time in this property. Jon was most helpful with our booking from the outset and ensured that everything was perfectly organised for our arrival and also provided a local contact in resort in the event of any problems. We would not hesitate to recommend the Olive Garden Villa and cannot wait to return. Our only negative is that a holiday there is just not long enough! Val & David

#20. Dream villa with a view, great condition and superb value for money.

The Olive Garden villa does just what it says on the box. The grandstand view across Kalkan bay is the stuff of holiday dreams, especially at night when you see the town's twinkling lights. Inside, the rooms are spacious and beautifully furnished. The beds are big and comfy and the kitchen and shower/toilet are modern. Every detail has been thought of - from novels for all ages and guidebooks, to candles in case of powercuts, loads of towels, and generous kitchenware. It's a fair trek down steep steps to the pools and beach club but a spot of exercise on holiday never goes amiss and the perfectly clean, sparkling blue water of the sea - with its marvellous cool patches of spring water from the mountains - are well worth the walk. The villa is very handy for hotel reception, which made ordering taxis into town easy. The taxis were a snip at £3 a time - but if you fancy the 20-minute walk into Kalkan, you are rewarded with views over the Old Town. In town, we had marvellous evening meals at the Sade, Baharat, Terra and Samphire rooftop restaurants. Simply sensational food and views. The coolest bar in town seems to be Botanik Garden, owned and run by Namek -- a twinkling wonderland of trees, hammocks and treehouses with the coolest bartenders in Kalkan and sensational jumbo cocktails and mocktails. The most talked-about day trip is to Kekova, where you can view the underwater and hillside ruins of an ancient city and swim with turtles. We also loved the one to Saklikent Gorge, where you can trek up the canyon but also try out rafting -- and a mudbath. Our villa owner, Jon Burton, was most efficient and helpful in his emails - but most welcoming of all was the ginger tabby cat who turned up daily at our door and became our friend. When we left for home, at 2.15am, she seemed to sense the moment and followed us down the steps to the bus.
