Well, if it's like previous years there will be no charge to use the facilities as long as you buy refreshments/meals.
They will also pay for your taxis to and from the beach club.
If this isn't still the case please let me know - we're flying out shortly and planning a day there!

oh well. All good things..............still a bargain if the bar prices haven't gone up too much!
Do they still pay for your cabs to and fro'?

how do you go about organising the taxi there? do you contact the beachclub first or just go under your own steam?

just get a receipt from the cabby and they'll knock the price off your bill....................at least that's how it worked when we were last there.

I thought we always paid for sunbeds at Kalamar..? Ah well shows how much attention I give the bill ::)
Call them on 0242 844 30 61 and they will collect you from your accomodation.
Enjoy!
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

You can also get a taxi from the main taxi rank and they'll drop you off at K beach club. Never needed a receipt. For a cheaper - and quieter day out (or couple of hours)  - try the free beach just round the corner from K beach club  if you're staying in the Kalamar area. No banana boat, trampoline etc. but you do get free loungers and a cafe/bar plus use of Kulube's facilities.

Didn't see this thread but  I just posted about this. They charge $13.50 for chairs and Taxi, only $8.50 if you walk. Rip off!!! Won't go there again.

If you go to: KTLN website - Kalkan Business Directory - Activities - Kalamar Beach Club
It gives their website as:
http://www.kalamarhotel.com

On their Homepage it states:
"We provide our beach club clients with a no fee collection and return transport service so that you may enjoy time with us, we look forward to your visit."

Clicking on the 'More Details' it says:

"Free Transportation
We provide our beach club clients with a no fee collection and return transport service so that you may enjoy time with us, we look forward to your visit.

Call 0242 844 10 61
       0242 844 30 61"

It sounds like they are more looking forward to your 13.5TL  ;D

I agree that it's misleading, and not  but in the grand scheme of things 8.50 or 13.50 TL  for a sunbed is not going to make a huge differece to your bill. Once you've had lunch, drinks etc it will work out pretty much the same per head wherever you go. Just think of it as a lovely day out with door to door transportaion. We have always enjoyed our time at the Beach Club and have never felt ripped off.

Again, it is not the cost. It is the dishonesty! Won't go there again!

I really enjoyed it there and found the prices OK however I agree that you need to check your bill.....remember you may have been there all day ordering items....there were seven of us so God knows what we were charged for as I just paid it without checking :)
