Turkish Bath
« on: April 22, 2012, 09:32:51 PM »
hello....following on from a thread last week, I have a specific question about Turkish Baths.....after recommendations Atlantis would seem like a good choice for us but does anyone know how many people can go at once.....there are 6 of us and if we have to go two at a time this is pretty much going to use up our first day.....and ideas please?

The last time we were at Atlantis, four of us were in together for the turkish bath.  Only two then opted for the oil massage so I'm not sure how many they can take at once for that part.

Hi hope you don't mind me jumping on the thread :) just wondering how much a Turkish bath with the oil massage is (roughly)? I had one when I was in Kalkan back in 07 and really want one as soon as I get there.  My bro and friend who are coming with me for their first time are really interested too.  Any help is much appreciated!

Today I had 'the works' at the Atlantis.  hammam, foam massage, face mask, oil massage (which was deep and kneading almost to the point of pain), took 90 minutes and cost 35 pounds.  They have other massages without hammam that are less.

Two of the 4 people who worked on me have only been there for 3 weeks.  I think personnel changes from season to season.

The hammam is large, 6 - 7 can easily fit.  There are 7 sunbed loungers for when you come out.

When I went there a couple of weeks ago, is it that long  :-[, the cost was £15 for the basic "bath" and £35 for the full works. On the first occasion I just had the bath which was done by the front of house English lady's husband who worked at Fenerbache, on my second visit a lady did the oil massage. While I was in there "opening my pores" there were 2 ladies having the bath and the man & lady did one each. There are 2 "hot slabs" so I guess 8 could be accommodated but I doubt there are enough personnel so it would have to be staggered.

Does anyone know if Le Sera on the Kalamar Road is open this year for Turkish Bath?

If so, is the cost similar to Atlantis?

Thanks in advance.
