Hi Everbody, just want to introduce myself  . Have been to Kalkan three time this year and really love it. I am a  happy single english woman who would like to know how I can meet,socialise and make friends with others. My next visit is in January.

hi. you should not have a problem meeting and making new friends. the winter is a good time to walk about unhurried and unburdened.

if you head for "Parc Kalkan" i believe they have things going on during the winter. quiz night on a tuesday (i think) and a film night, note sure which evening. lots of people who live in kalkan go there.

i dont live in kalkan, but came over  the after last christams for the first winter in kalkan.

it was lovely, weather mild. it rains hard some days, but then finished and not very cold compared to england in january.Imet people out of season for the first time, and although it takes time to form real close friendships, i have people i will always meet up with and know we will becomes "good friends"

if your happy to chat to people then you really should have a nice time.

happy winter break. maybe you could post and share your experience after that first winter visit.
