Turkish baths - Recommendations?
« on: September 27, 2011, 03:04:20 PM »
Hi all,

Further to the great feedback i got on my question about book exchanges i thought i might request the experience of the Forum Ref Turkish baths. Bev and I had one when we first stayed in Kalkan at the Rhapsody Hotel. We went to the one on site (underneath0. Bev thought it was great but i felt like i had been in a street brawl!!! I'm no softy I promise, but i actually had bruises up my calves and thighs and was a fair bit uncomfortable. Any recommendations from experiences better than mine? We arrive on Thursday evening and planned to have one Friday morning.

Many thanks in advance,

Neil and Bev

Can recommend the one at the Regency Hotel. It was recommended to us on this site when we went in June and we really enjoyed it.

I always go to Atlantis - perhaps not maybe as smart as some of the hotels but good service and the price had been cut this year from 95 to 75 TL for Turkish bath, clay mask and full body massage with oil.

I went to La Sera on Kalamar Road about 2 weeks ago and it was fantastic. Sauna, Turkish bath, face mask, use of pool and full body massage for 70tl. We were there for about 3 hours and it was fantastic.
