Hi - we have villa renters enquiring about location of the nearest golf course.  As a non player I turned to google - it suggests there is a course at Lycia World Near Fethiya - can anyone verify this or advise of other locations.  Many thanks

I don't believe there are any 18 hole courses closer than Antalya. Never heard of one in Fethiye. Not much use at the moment but there is one due to be open near dalaman end 2012.

Lykia World is just outside Olu Deniz and does have a 9 hole golf course but it was solely for the use of guests staying at the resort when we were there 6 years ago.

The nearest golf courses are at Belek and there are specialist golf holiday companies that go there. I've heard from friends, the courses are good, several to choose from both inland and links. However, it's too far for Kalkan visitors to go for a day, so golfers would have to stay over and consider taking a 2-3 day trip.
