Cafe Merkez

We've booked a villa called Villa Merkez from a Rebecca and Fatih Karsak. Am I right in thinking they owned or still own the Cafe Merkez? We have eaten many times in Cafe Merkez over the years and have conversed with a fella we assumed was the owner but never got to know his name. From memory he was quite a slightly built man who used to mostly sit by the counter keeping an eye on proceedings. Although we have contacted them by email many times regarding our booking they've never actually mentioned the restaurant. Oh well we'll soon know if it's the same fella I suppose as he's meeting us on arrival to take us to the villa. They seem a very friendly couple only too willing to help. Thanks!

Rebeca and Fatih have The Olive Garden which is above The Merkez Cafe. Fatih used to work in the cafe but his brother Mustaffa now runs it.

Thanks for satisfying my curiosity Itstime. Yes I agree they seem a nice friendly couple, actually phoned them with some questions we'd forgotten to ask just as we were about to finalise our booking and spoke to Fatih he was very helpful indeed. Looking forward to meeting them in person in ten days time.
