Apparantly  the Utopia is going to be all glass windows at the front to make it light and the back is going to be a beer garden,if there's  any money left over it will have new seating outside,Faihik told us this at the end of October. He may at some point put a childrens play area for locals and tourists at the back,he says its a very big area. He's not really grumpy when you get to know him and it is the perfect spot for watching the world go by. .

althought not been this year we have been 4 times over 2009 and 2010
can honestly say like other posts we have never been in utopia or moonlight, both seem very loud as we walked by all the time and not what we go to kalkan for, i try to get away from loud bars,music and football on holiday
  even in may and october which are our choice times to vist they seem busy and loud
we used to stop at yali bar on way to harbour where we find it much nicer for an after dinner drink and more peaceful to sit on sofas and watch the bobbling boats, but of course each to there own

We love Cafe del Mar too - especially the tia maria coffee, Osman the cat and the gorgeous incense smell.  Ohhhhh I miss it
