Internet performance in Kalkan

We currently have an agreement with our next door villa, splitting the cost of internet provision and using a wifi booster/repeater to give a good wifi signal around our villa. The actual speed of connection, whilst I was out in April and May, varied between 4.5 Mbs and 6 Mbs (www.speedtest.net results). However current clients have reported very intermittent internet connection (WiFi link to router seems good, just poor internet speeds or a complete lack of internet.)
Our villa is just off the Kalamar Rd near Cafe Vita, can anyone comment on the reliability of the internet service in this area and if speeds vary much (depending on time of day etc?)

I live in the same area as you and the Internet speed is very good. I think your guests have the same problem as us with an intermittent connection problem. I simply turn the router off and on again (the age old way for technophobes to deal with these things!) and it does the trick every time!!

I would suggest buying a new filter. These are often the cause of slow/ poor connection speeds and should be replaced every couple of years.
