They also have a duo on Fridays and if you get a chance to hear Blues ala Turka ANYWHERE, go for it!

We heard Blues ala Turka at Kaptan last October, very very good.    If I'm not mistaken (which I often am), we heard Aklan at Kaptan Wine and Tapas in May, also very very good.  Had a nice chat with him afterwards. Lovely chap.   Would love to bring my band to Kalkan! Perhaps one day after the lottery win.

I had my doubts when two guitarists and a conga player turned up but they were brilliant, especially on some of the blues classics by Muddy Waters and Howling Wolf.  Feti has a great bluesy voice and can really play the hell out of his geetar.
Aklan did play at Kaptan on Kalamar Road a few times last year.  You can check out www.aklanakdag.com and hear snippets from his songs.  Sensizlik varmiş and Ben Kaş'tayım are stunning.
Allan - if you were the big euromillions winner last night, can I give you 50p next time you visit and have half of the jackpot?..........
