Patara Prince Resort with a 3 and 4 year old - is the resort safe for them?

We are considering booking a villa at the Patara Prince for next summer.  I understand it is hilly with lots of steps and that doesn't bother us at all.  The villa is located at the top of the resort near the childrens pool anyway so thats OK and I know there is a shuttle bus.  What I would like to ask is has anyone with little children stayed at this resort and if so would you say it is OK ie safe and suitable as on some villa pages I read that it is not suitable for young children due to terraces (ie falling off them!) and open window buildings?  Can someone help please!  I really like the look of this place but want to be 100% sure before I book.  Thanks!

We stayed there last year when our son was just 2.

As you say the resort is very steep but this didnt prove a problem for our son. I  The only issue I would say was the marble floors in the villa could be a bit slippery at times and the railings outside the villa were quite wide so we had to be very vigilant.  The villa we stayed in had a 2 winding staircases and as long as you are watchful these are ok.

The top pool with the slide is great, and our son loved it, aswell as the lager pool further down.

My own negative would be that there isnt anything for little ones to do other than be in the water, so you need to come prepared with a host of activities for indoor time.
