The village "town crier" on Thursday said two days, but someone said today it might be longer.

Thanks! I wish there was a way to let people know who can't hear/understand the town crier. I looked on the Kalkan News site but there was no mention.

Hooray the water is back on but the electric was off!!!!
Now the electric is back on too, so the happy people of Kalkan are very busy showering and doing theır washing.

Mrs GG and I always swear that when the water or electricity comes back on we will never again leave the washing up until later or the washing until tomorrow. Usually our resolutions last about 48 hours, then we forget and start letting it all slide again so that we can get out and enjoy Kalkan.
