Well as the season is starting to wind down, lets be reflective... which new business for 2010 are you most pleased to be an addition to Kalkan?

My top new eating places 2010 are: Lush - by Omer and Ilhan from Coast...we just love everything they do and are privileged to consider them friends now .  Also up for the newcomer award has to be Fez - just love it.  Chapter One is another very welcome addition. 

Tearing myself away from food (impossible really), then the Kalkan Art Home, just by Fez is just fabulous.  I have a beautiful ceramic whirling dervish from there that has been much admired...I look forward to seeing their new pieces next May

My favourite would have to be Cafe LEON, chilled out cafe with great shakes and the fishcakes are wonderful.  Jane and Levant make you feel very welcome.

Bread  & More on Kalamar Road great for pastries during the day and excellent good value food and service at night.

Some welcome new Restaurants for sure, but my nom, nom, nom - ination (!) goes to Kalkan Catering Services. Just what the area is calling out for. Great service.

I will vote for Fez for best business (although not new as it was opened in 2009). Orhan will be there next year he assures me for all Fez fans.

i second the new Dolmus service, cheap, effective, much needed and upsetting the yellow mafia at the same time!

Thats a good call..long overdue and now means i won't be averse to staying a bit farther out of the village lets hope the yellow peril don't squash it
