You can park near the harbour and also at the car park near the taxi rank.

Wouldn't park it outside Omar Sharifs Brothers ..when we were there in June he took a Machete to a hire car parked on the road outside his place !! he went back 3 times and wazzled it!! :o the Jandarm eventually came and took him away...leaving two tourists from istanbul puzzled filling out a form at the side of the road......his menu board was in the road and he flipped when the car blocked one side of it....
People Of Britain.. When your missus asks "Does my bum look big in this? Never say "Dunno your blocking the light."... just sayin ????

 ta ta for now

Shopkeepers/restaurateurs do tend to get a bit tetchy if you park directly outside their premises if you are not going to go in, and they will tell you to move. Although I think Omar Sharifs brother seems to have taken it to the extreme

If the car park at the front of Samira Gardens/old taxi rank is full, try the lane behind the Samira hotel,up past Oz Adana,a lot of people seem to park there with no problems.  :)
EFES TIME AGAIN !

Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

Definitely give parking outside Omar Sharif's bro's place a miss, he makes our traffic wardens look like lightweights! Picking up on Mr Lizards ice-cream van message, we must have a posher class of lolly seller up our neck of the woods he plays  Green Sleeves. Bring back good old Popeye I reckon!!
