For all you owners out there, this may be something you wish to follow over the coming months.
 
I gather that some owners will lower their prices to ensure their property is let for the required days, reducing their rents to do so...

Good point but I think you'll find that Furnished Holiday Lettings rules only apply to properties within the EEU of which Turkey is not a member.
 
Rental income from properties outside the EEU is treated as (foreign) income from property and any losses are carried forward each year to set against any future rental profits.
