Hotel for 4 Nights

Hi - we have been to Kalkan before (stayed in a villa in the old town) and are looking to return next year , with a visit to Istanbul at the beginning of our holiday - we will rent a villa for the second week but will be looking for a hotel for 4 nights after Istanbul - Can anyone recommend something nice and fairly central - no more than 10 to 15 minutes walk to town - with good pool and bar Thanks

I noticed last week that the Samira GARDEN Hotel (note, 3 Samira's!) is bookable direct next year. I don't know if they do less that full weeks, but you could ask. The location is very central, being at the top of Cardiac Hill. It has a chilled bar area looking out over Kalkan. Peak rates for a room for 2 people was £250 per week.  if you would like contact details I will dig them out?  We usually stay in apartments so don't know the Hotels too well, but happened to notice this from the blackboards outside the Hotel.

The following are links to some of the centrally located hotels in Kalkan, all available to book directly. We also always rent villas, so can't comment on what the hotels are like. However we have had a look at the Asiyan and it looks very pretty, gets great reviews on Trip Advisor and is in a good position, just behind Kartin Supermarket. I'm sure others on the forum will be along to provide their reccomendations

The Meldi Hotel ticks all the boxes, we use it for our guests if they overlap by one or two days. meldi@meldihotel.com We used to use the Samira gardens/Tekinberk but they only seem interested in full week bookings and not odd days now.

You may find that the villa owner will rent to you for a 10 or 11 day period, save you from having to move throughout your stay in Kalkan.  Worth checking.
