CAR PARK FIDDLE

Just to warn others, at the main car park (oto park) near the taxi rank, the the owner of the rent a bike business, (situated at the entrance) is trying to con tourists into paying 2 Lira to park their cars there.
This is a blatent con! it is a free car park.
The Mayors offic has been informed, and if this happens to you please inform the Police or Mayors office straight away.

We got caught up in this scam in March, only parked on the car park for 2 minutes to nip over the road for a BBQ chichen, and had to pay the guy 2tl he told us you have to pay for 2 minutes or for all day! Had a feeling this was a scam.He deffo wants reporting, wonder how much money he is making a day!!!!!

Please write on here if you have experienced this and when there is a few more pieces of evidence, i will follow up with more info to the Mayors office on behalf of EK followers.
Spoken to a few locals who are very angry over this and want to know more.

I have told a friend who is quite senior at the Belediye so I hope the culprit will be dealt with.

We informed as many Turkish locals as possible, some who said that they had the "ear" of the Mayor, but nothing has happened that we know of, unless aTurkish EKer knows different?

I hope something will happen, if it hasn't already, but please read KTLN local news to see that the Mayor has something far more important on his mind.
