liquid restrictions

Hi can anyone confirm liquid rules - can you go through first scan with them in hand luggage ? can you get checked in with liquid in hand luggage? when do they get taken off you ? any advice appreciated - drinks are so expensive there !Thanks

If you are talking about Dalaman Airport the process is as follows (or it was last week  )
 

• First scan as soon as you arrive at the airport, liquids allowed in hand luggage, eg bottle of water
• Queue for checkin and receive boarding cards
• Second scan - liquids removed from you if over the allowed limits (see home page for full limits but similar throughout Europe) or if the bottle is open, so if you have a bottle of water you will be made to bin this
• Passport Control
• Board plane (security has been removed from all gates)
