Airports in Turkey have now placed additional restrictions on hand luggage items.
Rules for liquids in your hand luggage
You can only take liquids, aerosols and gels in containers of no more than 100 milliliters.These containers must be carried in a transparent plastic bag. The total volume of this resealable plastic bag must not be more than 1 litre per passenger.
Liquids include
Water and other drinks,
Soups, syrups, creams, lotions, oils, perfumes, sprays, gels including hair and shower gels.
Contents of pressurized containers including
shaving foam
deodorants,
liquid-solid mixtures, mascara and any other item of similar consistency
Exceptions
Baby food for use during trip
Medicines for use during trip
You may be asked for proof that they are needed or you may be asked to taste the contents.
