We have just rung Aegean Flights in Marmaris as my daughter booked her flights through them but was on a Jet2 flight.  As they only had a uk landline contact number they have been ringing and leaving messages for my daughter to get in contact with them.  They have now confirmed that she will be re-booked on the next available flight out of Dalaman as soon as restrictions allow, a big relief to us all.  They also mentioned that they are trying to contact other passengers who are also in Turkey, maybe some of them may be based in Kalkan-just a thought the staff are very helpful.  If anyone has booked through Aegean Flights contact the Marmaris number 0252 411 1129.  Hope this is of use to someone. :)

Apparently a few days of rain will clear it up.....never thought I'd be praying for rain when we're having such lovely weather  ::)
Better to keep your mouth shut and appear stupid than to open it and remove all doubt :)

It has been annouced today that the ash may effect flights to and from the UK from tomorrow to Tuesday

The Met Office has put prediction charts on their site

Hope it is ok for 31 May as then when we are flying out to Kalkan
